Optum Urgent Care - Poughkeepsie Columbia

I went this morning and had a wonderful experience. The best urgent care experience yet, from the front desk women to the nurse and NP I saw they were so kind and genuinely caring. Only waiting about 15 minutes.

Very rude nurse practitioner named Mary Lou. I was supposed to get swabbed for covid, strep, RSV, and the flu, all she did was listen to my lungs and told me I have a virus. She was very condescending and aggressive. I asked some simple questions about my sickness and she responded with harsh responses with condescending tones. I cant believe someone who fails to complete simple tests for someone coming in with a sickness still has a job. This is a health risk as someone could have covid or the flu and spread it unknowingly. This should be addressed I am very shocked and disappointed in the health care system here. Paid $40 just to get my blood pressure checked and my lungs listened to, this is outrageous.

Wish I could give fewer than 1 star. My primary physician is great, but this company is probably the worst company I've ever dealt with, period. Avoid at all costs. Their website and patient portal are down or only partially functioning most of the time, the people you get on the phone can't answer questions, they won't allow you to access your billing history. This company is a total joke, right up there in quality with Central Hudson.

Called to receive test results, returning a call from my pc assistant. I was on hold for 15 minutes, person who answered had the sniffles and kept sniffing into the phone. I wanted to speak with the dr. assistant but the person with the sniffles read my chart, sniffling the whole time. I did not want to speak with her, would prefer talking to the dr, but could accept the dr. assistant. I would prefer to have my chart read by someone who has seen me, not someone who has no idea what the chart means, with the sniffles.
