Samantha and her staff at The Pines are dedicated to helping our loved ones when they need it the most. Thank you so much for everything you do, and most importantly, the way you make a patient feel when we find ourselves in unfortunate situations requiring rehabilitation.

Do not send anyone here!!! It was the worst experience of my life. I went in for rehab and I couldn't wait to get out. The rns were good however the nurses aides were unfriendly and had an attitude with me. I actually had a phone thrown at me because I asked an aide to get me my cell and she got angry. I was confined to bed so I wasnt able to get some items myself. This was a nursing home and a rehab facility. I cant believe some people give this place 5 stars. Oh 1 more thing as soon as u r admitted u r told not to keep any cash with u because u might have it stolen. A word to the wise is sufficient.

PLEASE FAMILY MEMBERS IF YOU OR FAMILY DECIDE TO GO HERE PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK WITH YOUR LOVED ONES !! ONCE THE NURSES SEE THE PATIENTS HAVE NO ADVOCATE OR SUPPORT SYSTEM THEY TREAT THEM HORRIBLY WHEN FAMILY ARENT AROUND !! HOSPITALS WILL ADVICE YOU TO GO TO THE PINES BECAUSE OF THE STARS ITS ALL LIES , SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS ! If I can put zero stars best believe I would .. my mother was here for 3 months straight and every one here is MONEY HUNGRY especially 6th floor CHARGE NURSE JODY and MANAGER SASKI , Please pines replace them with people that enjoy what they do !! They need to find a job they actually enjoy . The stay at the pines was pure misery . The first week my mom came they decided they wanted to change her bed while changing it SASKI put her in the wheel chair using the Hoyer lift since she had to learn how to walk again . She put her in the wheelchair with the wheels unlocked when they left her in the wheelchair she was sliding down screaming help ! Even her roommate was screaming for help if I wasnt on the phone it would have ended bad I immediately came and reported it . My mom even asked the aid to help her the aid told her that shes taking up lunch trays so she need to wait .. WHILE SHES FALLIN. They then transferred her to the other side it went well until she had to constantly ask for her blood pressure to be checked, my mom is fully aware if its being taken or not but they CHARGE NURSE JODY became offended and came with proof that it is being taken every morning .. little did she know Im at pines every second of the day , EVERYDAY & know its not being taken . She came in the room arguing with my mom straight up calling her a lier . Saying my mom want the nurses to lose their license. Why would anyone want that? The nurse my mom had everyday knew it wasnt being taken but still charted it knowing it was a lie ! Afterwards they insisted that next time its gonna be taken they going to have someone else with them incase it happen again . Thats when it finally was taken and they realized her blood pressure was fluctuating. my mom lower extremities were swelling uncontrollably and we asked for the doctor MULTIPLE TIMES . They sent everyone but the person we were asking for we even went to the supervisor she filled our head with LIES thinking their going to help my mom . Seeing her in such pain made me feel so helpless as a daughter , even seeing the other residents being treated horribly hurt me . A resident across the room from us fell out of his wheelchair shouting for over 30 minutes for help until I heard him and ran after a staff for help . Even this lady was completely bed bound and the aids were so rough changing & cleaning her , she would always cry and shout in pain while others do absolutely nothing .everyday I came and brought food and made sure my mom had everything she needs I even showered her myself every single day because of how uncomfortable she felt around them . I was so happy when the day came for my mom to be discharged after 3 miserable months & Im not here to just bash them their are specific nurses and aids I absolutely LOVEEE and respect, Lpn Lacy shes not a permanent staff but when she do come she make us feel sooo comfortable, she is so humble and attentive . Also cna sally and nurse ashaunda and cna Isabella they all made the stay a lot better for my mother and I !!

Everyone is so kind. They keep it very clean. Good communication. My mom has been here since November for therapy rehabilitation, Prosy on the 6th floor rehabilitation an aide for my mom is amazing and a real angel. She is very professional and caring. My mom since was moved to the 3rd floor for long term care. All the nurses and aides are very caring to my mom. Sqanna the head nurse on 3rd floor truly does her job with true professionalism and care. RN Maria and all the nurses, Shauna and all the day aides truly care for my mom. SW , Anna 3rd floor good communication and results with my family. Melinda and all the recreation department are wonderful So, from the receptionist Maureen , Jeff ( head of housekeeping) to the nursing floors that I have dealt with, all get praise from me. Thank you so much, for making my mom comfortable. The pines get my recommendation for sure. Tanya is so caring with my mom. I can see this because of my mom's reaction and how she is engaging with her. I can't say enough great things about the whole staff.
