After 4 years i had gotten a renewel for my lease in the mail. Couple days later i recieved a notice tht my lease is being Reschended and have to be out by april 31st!!!..I have never been late or behind with rent since living here. This place is insane and not worth the money...and it was not explained to me why i was being thrown out!!!..Ive been living here for over a year i live on the first floor. Have had 2 different tenants upstairs and now this recent tenant have been stomping around the apartment evry single day and they have a child which runs and stomps everyday hours at a time. Its very disrespectful and uncalled for. I do not need this working 11hrs a day and coming home to this. People have no respect to their neighbors!!!

I never want to sleep at my partners place and have urged them to make a complaint about all the noise. She lives under a noisy 3 child family that should NOT have been put on the second floor and there has been non stop construction here every day.

This place is worth skipping over. I have been here for almost 5 years and throughout this time, the water main has broke almost 3 times a year. The disgusting water lasts for days, sometimes even a week and half. The most recent one broke just before 6:30pm 03/17/2024, right before I was going to cook dinner and needed the water. It was out for the rest of the night (apparently got fixed around 1am 3/18/2024) and then noticed it came back this morning when I woke up for work. The email that stated it came back also stated a Boil Water Notice has been advised. From all of the past times the main has broke, there was never a notice like this sent out. A sample of the water has been sent out to a lab according to their email, and we are told it should come back 2 days after the first email letting us know the water was shut off. This is a HUGE inconvenience for everyone living here. There needs to be some compensation given to us residents, even if its just a small discount on rent. We have never gotten an email like this, which then makes me think it is possibly the first time in a while it's getting checked. A sign in one of the laundry rooms has a date of 2019, so looks like it was tested about 5 years ago. The Health department website for water testing states everything should be tested every 3-5 years except for checking for E. Coli, which is every year. They do not send emails out regarding E. Cool testing, so I am lead to believe this is not tested. This is just one of the many complaints I have had about living here. Here are some more than have been happening over the span of time that I have been living here: The cleanliness of laundry rooms has stopped since the pandemic was declared over. There are days where the inside of the washers are left disgusting by other residents who dont care. There are not many amenities here, and the lack of cleanliness makes me not even want to do laundry down there. There is litter outside in some areas as well as teenagers that seem to do whatever outside, including dropping garbage. The parents of young kids do not get watched over, and sometimes the young kids are running amongst in the road or riding their bikes recklessly. I obviously drive very slow when I see them playing, but some residents here speed regardless of speed bumps. I cant really knock them though, because the maintenance crew also drives fast around here too. We have had a few maintenance issues with them not properly fixed the issue correctly. Forcing more inconvenience on myself having to take a day off from work. As far as I know, they seem to do the bare minimum and do not go above and beyond fixing whatever needs to get fixed. There are two older men who are very respectively and polite, but politeness can only do so much. The front office women are typically very polite as well as some of the maintenance crew. People here do not instinctively say a friendly hello when passing by you. Not very many residents are seen outside aside from kids and sometimes the parents, teenagers, and adults going to do laundry. I would save your money and look elsewhere. 03/19/2024 Additional update after Village Crest actual replied: The water they are telling us to boil is shown in the photo. The top cup is my kitchen sink water, the bottom is my bathroom sink water. Those black specs(which could be heavy metals) will not leave the water once boiled. I cannot take showers and have to go to other family members homes to do so. I need to now use bottled water for things such as brushing my teeth. I will not be using that disgusting water to cook with even after boiled. They send some notices out via email, but NO ONE follows up with maintaining said notices. People speed left and right, even in front of the maintenance crew. No one says a word or bats an eye. 03/20/2024 Update: Maintenance picked up the trash left around the premises. The only way to get this place to do things is to write a review apparently! Not a good business practice!

Thank you for your continued residency of 5 years. We apologize for the inconvenience the temporary loss of water has created due to the unexpected water main breakage that occurred. Unlike previous notices regarding a temporary loss of water for preventive maintenance or emergency repairs, the Department of Health requires boil notices when there is a loss of water for a period of 4 or more hours. Notices were distributed to our residents in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Health, and to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, which is our priority. Our water system is maintained and tested regularly by our plant operators per the scheduling of the Department of Health. Water reports are provided annually to residents via postings in the information boxes located at the postal box stations throughout the property. Additionally, our laundry rooms are cleaned weekly. For work orders and repairs, maintenance will enter the unit without the presence of the tenant if prior approval for entry is permitted by the resident when a work order is opened. If entry is not granted, then our team must address the work order during business hours only when the tenant is home. Notices are sent out to residents during the warmer months regarding safety which includes driving slowly, keeping a watchful eye on children, as well as reminding parents and guardians to clean up after children. We ask that you please reach out to the office so our team can come to the unit to evaluate issues that you're experiencing. -The Team at Village Crest Apartments
