Under the leadership of Greg and Linda, we now have two beautiful, expertly crafted bathrooms thanks to the skill, knowledge, honesty and integrity of the people at Northern Contracting. After a couple of initial meetings, Greg developed a comprehensive contract that reflected our vision for the outcome we wanted, and that had the specifics of the job spelled out and with a timeline once the work was to start. The work was completed within the proposed timeline and the contract required minimal changes, which means that the proposed cost for the job was accurate. The workers who did the actual gutting and renovation, kept to a daily schedule, were polite, non-intrusive, hard-working, knowledgeable, trustworthy and cleaned up at the end of each day. The foreman gave us frequent progress reports and discussed with us any decisions that had to be made. The subcontractors (electrical and plumbing) also came when scheduled and performed their work skillfully. The office staff (generally Patty) were always available by phone. They answered questions, gave referral of vendors, worked with our town to obtain the necessary permit and helped when there were questions that required immediate attention from the foreman or Greg. We had a superior experience with Northern Contracting and would use them for our next renovation! The bathrooms turned out better than we had thought was possible.
