        My teenager LOVES coming there. Not only is the instruction amazing, its a place where they can go and meet so many like minded kids their age and they always feel welcomed. A safe place for them to thrive and be a part of something especially when sports is not their thing. Plus their shows are AMAZING! Great job to all who make this place run so well!

        Ive personally been playing guitar and playing out live for 30 years. Cant believe how quickly my 12 year old son has grasped the basics on bass to the point he can actually jam with me. Lots to still learn, but Im completely amazed. Great atmosphere also. Wish we had this when I was a kid, but we would have ruined it somehow, lol.

        It's a great program. My grandson started taking keyboard lessons at 7 years old and within a few weeks he was reading music. He joined their Rock 101 group and has performed twice with them in area restaurants. He's bow 8 and will be moving into their performing group next.

      School of Rock Port Jefferson provides both in-person and online music lessons for students of all ages. Our programs, camps and workshops for toddlers, kids, teens and adults make learning to play music fun and create great communities of musicians. School of Rock is the leader in performance-based music education. We combine one-on-one drum, bass, keyboard, vocal, and guitar lessons with group practices. Students learn to play music from day one and put on live performances at local venues. Our experienced instructors are local musicians themselves who combine the performance-based School of Rock Method and programs with individual music lessons to get results for your student.
