Western New York Dental Group Orchard Park

I called to get information. I found out they don't accept my insurance, despite the fact that their website states they do. They refused to see me as a patient, even though I was willing to pay out of pocket. I was told that since I would have to pay out of pocket I should just contact ECC or UB. According to the lady at WNY Dental, both of those places would have students do the same work that their providers would do, but for a lot less or at no cost. I personally feel a bit offended. As if they were saying my money isn't good enough since they don't accept my insurance. At this point, knowing this is an actual conversation that they have with people, I wouldn't go there, even if they did take my insurance.

Called to confirm time of follow up apt. with orthodontics department. Was on hold for 11 minutes- called back and requested a call back rather than being on hold- and was put on hold again abruptly. The person on the other end of the line was so rude. Honestly haven't ever had a good experience here . This was last straw. Won't be back and certainly won't recommend. Consider this my apt. cancelation. Thank you

I never ever leave reviews and have extreme leniency and open mind for businesses. BE WARNED. Terrible terrible front desk staff. Extremely rude and unprofessional. If there is a scheduling problem with their systems it is the patients fault no matter what. This has happened multiple times after giving the benefit of the doubt the first two. No attempt to actually provide service or solutions. No concept of customer service or human decency. Just rudeness. With all the options for dental care in the area keep your family FAR away from this practice.

The Dentists and Dental Hygienists are amazing. They are respectful, kind and helpful. My issue is the scheduling at the Orchard Park location. Ive never seen over scheduling and lack of appointment availability in any medical practice then I have seen here. You would think that working with children and families they would take into account that people need schedule accommodations. Twice now they had to reschedule my appointment due to an office issue and could not get me in for months. Whenever we do schedule it is months in advance with very little availability. After speaking with other patients that I know that go there this appears to be an ongoing issue at their Orchard Park location. I am unsure what business model they follow but it clearly includes over scheduling appointments with little realization that life happens to people as well as life happening to their businesses. I cant even imagine how stressed their staff must feel. It saddens me but we will not be staying with this practice.
