Unfortunately, my experience at Oneonta Trux Outfitters was extremely disappointing! I purchased a fisher plow for my brand new 2022 F250 pickup truck and noticed a strange noise after picking it up after the installation. The plow installation technician had popped out the 2 inch plug where the main wire harness runs through the firewall and never put it back creating a whistling noise in the cab. Discovering this led me to closely inspect the rest of the work that had been performed and I discovered numerous missing, loose and stripped bolts. The front camera had also stopped working. I allowed the Oneonta location an opportunity to correct the many issues I had identified but they consistently demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge and workmanship I would expect for a business that sells and installs plows. After several weeks of frustration, I took the truck to a certified ford dealer which resulted in $4,000 worth of replacement parts, repairs and labor costs on my truck to restore it to original condition (the vehicle had less than 1,000 miles on it). I also had to make an extra trip to their Binghamton location because the plow was not hung properly and would not hook up properly to the truck. I would not recommend this business to anyone and advise you to closely review any work done there if you choose to do business there. The only reason Im comfortable with giving one star is that the owner was responsive when I contacted him agreed to pay for all costs to repair the damage done to my vehicle.
