Physical Therapy & Aquatics By The Sea, formerly Metro Physical Therapy & Aquatics is proud to offer patients the unique opportunity for Aquatic & Land-based physical rehabilitation. Aquatic therapy can be ideal for adults & children who need to gain strength, endurance, reduce pain and improve balance. Our land and water individualized treatments are ideal in reaching patients' short & long-term goals. We feature complete Cybex gym equipment at both locations. The staff is comprised of highly trained licensed physical therapists/ physical therapists asst. who will work as a team to reach the patients' most optimal state of fitness. Our facilities are located on the south shore of Long Island, conveniently located in Oceanside & Long Beach.

After a very difficult recovery from a total knee replacement, I found that going into their friendly atmosphere made doing therapy enjoyable, even through the pain.
I worked mostly with the PT Tonya who was exceptional with me. She handled my therapy with a caring, professional manner. Tonya took the time to understand my level of pain and made sure she didnt add to my discomfort after I completed my exercises.
The positive attitudes of the entire staff at PT and Aquatics by the Sea gave me the confidence that recovery was truly on the horizon. I cant thank them enough!
From the staff at the front desk, to the Therapists and the PT Assistants, you can count on their professionalism and expertise to work with you to make you feel better. I would highly recommend this facility for your physical therapy needs.
