Enterprise Truck Rental

I have no idea how this branch has gotten negative reviews, unless it was under a different manager at the time. I have nothing but positive comments for the service I received and the Cargo van itself. I dealt with Anthony on the phone numerous times, since I had to change my reservations more than once for weather related reasons. He went beyond in being helpful, accommodating and understanding. When I arrived I worked with Loren who was also very friendly and helpful. The van itself was almost new and drove SO much better than anything Ive ever rented from Home Depot or U-haul over the years. It was a whole different category in that it was new with lots of safety features, it even had Apple play. It was well maintained and I felt much safer overall driving it than I did in the ones from HD and U-Haul at a BETTER price overall. Highly recommend this branch of Enterprise Trucks and Enterprise vans in general over any of the more traditional commercial rental places. Thank you Anthony and Loren!

The truck I got from the Newburgh NY branch, had filthy seats, and a large smear on the windscreen. Due to scheduling, I couldn't refuse it, as I should have. The mechanical maintenance was also terrible. Don't expect too much from these guys, and don't plan to go too far.

I broke down in Newburgh, NY and went to this location to rent a truck. The VISA merchant line they use to verify card data was not in service and the manager (Eric) refused to verify my credit card information directly with my financial institution even though he was instructed to do exactly that by the VISA merchant services agency (he was only verifying my address). He also refused to call his supervisor (he sent him an email) to get authorization to call my financial institution so that I could continue my trip. He showed absolutely NO compassion or understanding of my emergency situation. I will be contacting his supervisor about the nightmare experience with this location and the manager.
