I took a chance at trying facial acupuncture at Magnus Wellness about 8 months ago as I wanted a natural alternative to fight the signs of aging in lieu of poisons and toxins injected into the face. I am very happy with my treatments, not only does it work, my skin has never looked better. I dont need to wear makeup anymore. As an added surprise the treatments have managed to balance my extremely oily skin and I no longer breakout like a child!!!! I am 53 years old and always surprise everyone as they think I look much younger than my true age. Daniel Fielder is wonderful at what he does - the space is very inviting and the process/experience is very relaxing and rejuvanating. The results are immediate! Best acupuncturist in NYC I love Magnus Wellness owned by Daniel Fielder he is by far the best acupuncturist Ive ever had - and I lived in Asia for several years! (Ive been to at least a dozen practices; four in NYC.) Ive been for everything from cosmetic treatment and for help with digestive issues, anxiety, and sports injuries. A few thoughts on acupuncture: Western medicine is magnificent in many ways - yay, science(!) - but there are a lot of middle-of-the-road spots where it just seems to run out. Im thinking here of IBS, migraines, insomnia when (were told) this is just something you have, and youre reduced to treating symptoms. Post-Covid cough, comes to mind. Acupuncture bridges into those gaps. You may not have to have anything. It also acts like a fabulous booster shot to ANY conventional medical treatment and your bodys own ability to recover. Acupuncture gets lumped into alternative medicine, but I think of it as complementary medicine. For anyone nervous about acupuncture, needle is not an accurate word. The needles are much thinner and lighter than what youre probably thinking; more like filaments. Surprisingly, acupuncturists - in Asia - often suffer from a lack of bedside manners. In the US, it can be hard to find effective acupuncture over a "spa" experience. Daniels a very down-to-earth, friendly guy who does really effective acupuncture in a perfectly pleasant space. He also often gives quick massages as prep to an acupuncture session, so its almost like two appointments in one. Since I found Daniel/ Magnus Wellness, I havent gone anywhere else.
