The beauty of Sophie's photography is obvious from all of her previous work, but what you don't know until you work with her is how professional, warm, and calming her presence is on your wedding day. She is so subtle in her approach that she managed to capture the most beautiful, joyful candid photos of our family members, even the ones who really don't like being photographed. She somehow made herself invisible during the ceremony and reception, capturing the most amazing moments without anybody realizing their photo was being taken. She is an absolute joy to work with and worth every penny. We adore her and would hire her again in a heartbeat. I'm attaching four photos but would attach my entire gallery if I could!

There are no words to capture what Sophie and her photography have given us, but I will try. She is, in short, that rare occurrence of incredible talent in a wonderful person. When our original photographer could not make our rescheduled wedding date (thanks, covid), we began a frenzied search for a new photographer with the nagging concern that we wouldn't find anyone nearly as good. Sophie was a dream from start to finish: responsive, collaborative, helpful, and an endless stream of wedding knowledge and general good cheer. In the months leading up to our wedding I was texting her more than most of my friends; partly because she was so knowledgeable, and partly because she is just great to talk to. For our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, Sophie was a consummate professional and steadfast companion. She blended seamlessly into the background when needed and stepped into the scene with ease. You spend so much of the wedding day with your photographer, so you want someone who you actually like if for no other reason than liking everyone around you will ensure better photos. Plus, who wants bad vibes on their wedding day? Critical for us was our blended cultural backgrounds. We wanted vendors who not only accepted how we chose to celebrate our respective cultures, but who were thrilled to be a part of it. Sophie showed honest enthusiasm every step of the way and handled our cultural elements with respect and care. Last but not least, her photos are show-stopping, jaw-dropping stunners. I've waited months to write this review because an earlier review would've been laden with expletives. We truly did not think it was possible to look this good. I don't cry much, but I ugly-cried through much of our first viewing. Viewed on their own, each photo shows a snippet of who we are, but the story comes in the totality. We can't thank her enough for giving us photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
