Truly the best urgent care experience I've had in the city. I was worried about my health coming in, but everyone was so kind and the process was seamless. It was sincerely such a relief to find the professional care I needed. 10/10 would recommend this clinic!

For anyone with a physical injury, DO NOT GO TO HEALTHNEED. I went to HealthNeed on Grand St. in Manhattan when I injured my wrist in a fall. Despite bruising, swelling, and pain, the provider, a PA, was reluctant to x-ray and only did so after I said I had osteoporosis and then blamed me for not saying so at the outset. He then misread the x-ray and told me I had a sprain. After several weeks of discomfort, I went to NYU Orthopedic urgent care, where they immediately took x-rays and told me I had a fracture and referred me to a hand surgeon. Because I was not put in a cast right away, the fracture is now displaced, is healing more slowly, and my 2 hands and wrists do not quite look the same. Luckily, I do not need surgery. When I read the report of my visit, I saw that the supervising physician signed off 3 days after my visit, which says to me that he never saw the x-ray. I requested a copy of the x-ray and after now seeing several subsequent x-rays of my hand, was able to pretty clearly see the dark line signifying a fracture. In my opinion, HealthNeed may be useful for minor illness and sexual health needs, but they clearly are not equipped to deal with physical injuries.
