Just be careful with the advisors/mentors. My mentor isnt bad but my friend has a mentor that is completely useless. She showed up to their meeting almost 30 mins late and only came because my friend had to remind her about it. And on top of that she wasnt listening to a word he was saying, hes going for a concentration in computer science yet the lady had no idea about what classes he needed to take (Did not come prepared). Kept pushing him to take an educational class instead of his very first intro to computer programming class after he stated he could only take one class a semester. Mind you this guy already has 2 degrees and yet shes pushing the Gen Eds. He cant take any of the other computer science courses without taking this intro to programming course. Very very useless indeed. Check your own transcripts and curriculums, dont rely on the mentors/advisors.
