        I was in NYC on vacation and I had been wanting to check this place out. It's the oldest Methodist congregation in the United States. Pastor Stefani was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the church when we arrived. The service was wonderful with amazing music and a powerful message. Also, it was evident that this was a church that welcomes and cares for everyone. I hope to make it back to John Street UMC next time I am in NYC.
