We’ve been with Varsity Tutors for about a year now, and have never been disappointed. My two kids (6 and 7) are homeschooled, and VT has perfect classes for their needs - we love math, marine biology, art (oh art! Those are just great), theater, and lately we’ve been attending the star course classes - the one with the veterinarian (and now my kids want to be vets), and the one about Earth’ coolest spiders (now, of course, they want to have a tarantula for a pet). Thank you VT, can’t praise you enough !

Varsity Tutors is one of the best online tutor sessions. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and have a special way engaging the kids. Some classes give you email reminders on supplies and what to expect for the next session. During Covid, varsity tutors provided my family a peace of mind! Learning through fun during quarantine!!!

Communication is important with Varsity Tutors. It’s not easy to match the perfect tutor with the exact need of the student, but if you work with them, you will end up with something that’s perfect for you. My daughters is in college and needed help with a difficult physics course so we requested a tutor. The first one was good for what my daughter will need closer to mcat time, but not perfect for what she needed in this course at the moment so we requested a change and her latest tutor, Danielle, is AMAZING. She’s so good at explaining complex problems and has gone way above & beyond what is required in crucial academic times (ie test tomorrow! SOS!). Bottom line is, VT is a wonderful asset- just don’t give up if you’re disappointed with a tutor. Work the process- they’re willing to work with you until you’re happy!

I had purchased the self-study guides, but wasn't using them correctly, or with any continuity. My Varsity tutor shared research-based "how-to" study strategies and provided me with a vast array of test questions to work on between tutoring sessions, which we then discuss when we meet. She also suggested websites to enhance my study program. Additionally, during every session she helps me work through the more difficult LSAT questions, and provides clarity. Just having an expert to explain the content that I'm still confused about, and explain it again when I'm still not clear, has been helpful to me. As a result of just the first couple of sessions, I've developed a daily study schedule, and now the logical games and reading comprehension passages have become less daunting, and even enjoyable for me. I highly recommend Varsity Tutors.
