Echoing everyone else here, quality has gone way downhill post Steve Madden acquisition - no longer made in Italy, terrible quality, doesn't fit like it used to, bad customer service upon return request resulting from changing fit (they wouldn't take it). Some customer loyalty. Don't buy!
I suspect the brand will be defunct in 2 years - so many better options on the market.

poor quality shoes. They post fake and sponsored reviews on their website. These are the type of shoes that will cut into your feet and take you years to "wear in." Poor quality. Stiff as a board. Quality has gone greatly down since the Steve Madden acquisition.
Best analogy is that you're buying a overly hyped up, and more expensive, shoe you could have gotten some a place like Aldo. It feels like an Aldo for sure.

Bought a pair of Wooster Hikers. The shoes are very comfortable and look great.
The online description states that the leather is locally sourced. I thought locally sourced would mean locally to Brooklyn. The shoes are actually made in China. I guess locally sourced actually means that the leather is also sourced in China.
I've bought many Greats shoes. They used to be made in Italy. Those old ones I own are still the best. The interior leather is so soft that you can wear them without socks. The more recents ones are made in Portugal. Those are clearly made of lower grade, much harder leather. I wouldn't wear them without socks.
Please bring back the Italian made originals. They are the best.
