Incredibly rude experience! Went in looking for walking shoes/ light running shoes (3 miles or less) to replace my well loved Hokas. Sales associate scanned my foot and told we I had a medium-wide foot, with over pronation, then sold me a shoe that was a half size up and wide. Also upsold me on some inserts. After using them, realized the shoes were way too big and caused pain in my ankle. Tried walking without inserts and they were still too big but less pain. Went back the next day to return the shoe and find something that fit. The same sales associate helped me but was INCREDIBLY RUDE this time. Returned shoe just fine, but then the associate dismissed me. I looked at some shoes on the sales floor by myself, and asked to see one in my size and the associate said something along the lines of Thats a stability shoe, do you even know what that shoe is for? I said no, but it looked similar to the shoe I was trying to replace, a slimmer Hoka. Associate then said that the shoe I was trying to replace is a walking shoe, we would NEVER sell that here, this is a store for running shoes. So rude! I promptly left, went to JackRabbit down the street where they kindly helped me find some new balances that fit :)

I tried this place because of all the good reviews but left so frustrated and disappointed because it seemed like they just wanted to sell their shoe inserts. A staff member took a scan of my feet, which revealed I over pronate, and then she asked me a variety of questions about my running, which I responded to that I jog slowly and leisurely, I never race. The first shoes that were brought out were for under pronation (opposite of what I have) and then the second pair was specifically for sprinting. I brought this to her attention and she said, it only matters if you like the shoe, the rest can be fixed with the sole insert. After wasting my time trying several options with their inserts, I left. Thankfully the next day I tried fleet feet nearby and was actually given shoes that matched my needs to try on, which led to finding my new favorite running shoes.
