Osteria La Baia

The restaurant was empty, just a few tables were taken. The manager said they had an event, which didnt look like it at all becuase no tables were set or prepared or ready. I made a reservations online that in 15min and we just went to the Ocean side were they let us in. Bad service 0/10.

Happened upon this gem while I was randomly staying at the Sheraton for a night. What a delight! Service, particularly the bartender Istvan, was fantastic, and the management team was great. Best carpaccio Ive had in a long time and the roasted mushrooms were meaty and delicious. Will absolutely return next time Im in the area. Thanks guys!

I had the pleasure of dining at LaBaia last night, and I was absolutely blown away by the food. The calamari was fried to perfection, and the pasta was like something I would have eaten in a real Italian restaurant. The service was also excellent, and the atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. I will definitely be coming back to LaBaia soon! Here are some specific details about my experience: The calamari was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was served with a delicious marinara sauce that was not too heavy. The pasta was cooked al dente and was tossed in a flavorful sauce. I had the fettuccine alfredo, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The service was attentive and friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional Italian style. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at LaBaia. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in New York City. Vegetarian options: Have some veggie options including some beautiful salads
