I scheduled a telehealth appointment with Dr. Jonas Nelson on 12/21/2022 at 3:45 pm. I arranged my work schedule so that I would be available to speak with Dr. Nelson. Apparently, Dr. Nelson was behind schedule that day. I received a few phone calls from his office asking me to be patient and "stand by". I had another appointment at 5:00 pm and was hoping to meet with Dr. Nelson before then. At about 4:55 pm, I received a call from his office telling me that Dr. Nelson would FaceTime me in exactly 1 hour. I waited by my phone until 8:00 pm and never received a call from Dr. Nelson. I called his office the following day because I was upset that I spent hours waiting for a call from him. I was told that Dr. Nelson was aware that I called and that he would contact me. I cannot believe how incredibly inconsiderate Dr. Nelson is. Does he think that his time is more valuable than mine? This is not the first time that Dr. Nelson had complete disregard my schedule. His office is very poorly managed and he has kept me waiting for an inordinate amount of time on previous occasions. To date, I have never heard back from Dr. Nelson, or his staff, and needless to say, I did not receive an apology. His potential patients should be aware of his lack of respect and common courtesy. Dr. Nelson did surgery on me last year and he did not do the surgery that we discussed and agreed upon, but that's another story.
