I have been a patient of Dr. Mathew for several years. She is an excellent physician with a wonderful bedside manner. Not only is she skilled; she's also thoughtful and attentive. She takes the time to discuss the pros/cons of treatment and always provides alternatives if needed. She approaches her patients with compassion and empathy. These qualities are also reflected in her staff. They are understanding, flexible and accommodating.

Didn't get to even meet the doctor or get answers as to what she treats. I called the number for this doctor ending in 7114 given by my insurance company. They refused to tell me whether or not they do the specific injections/treatment I require for my TMJs despite asking multiple times. I was also hung up on with no response when I called again, after a prolonged silence on the first call. Deliberate waste of time, and that too of a patient in loads of pain from their joint issue; must be shut down!

I saw her three years ago and she told me there is nothing she could do to help me for my pain. Now three years later I just learned I am not able to see any other doctor in their pain management department because of this appointment and her assessment of me three years ago. This is very strange to me. Shouldn't a pain doctor know that pain changes through time as do treatments??? My pain diagnosis isn't that difficult really. It's n See someone else there if you want to get in the door. They don't do ketamine infusion (despite what their website says).

Dr. Mathew is amazing! We are so lucky to have found her. She listens to us, and involves my son in his own medical decisions. She explains things in a way that we both understand. We take the train in to see Dr. Mathew, and we will continue to travel to see her as we've seen other pain management drs near us and have not received the quality and care from them that Dr. Mathew can give us. The absolute best!

Very skilled at treatment (blood patches) for Spontaneous Intercranial Hypotension (CSF leak). Thoughtful throughout the process. Would carefully and rigorously weigh the risks and benefits when deliberating what made the most sense at each step in the recovery and treatment.
