I came upon The Pilates Local after having my second child. I wish I had known about it earlier! Being a pilates enthusiast, I have been to many different studios throughout the city and nothing compares to The Local Pilates. It is such a warm, inviting and friendly envirmonemnt. Both Michele and Kristin, the owners, are seasoned pros! They are thoughtful to individual needs, gentle to their approach while still kicking your butt! They helped rehabilitate me after I broke my leg in June. I am forever grateful for their patience and expertise!

Whether you're a beginner, a novice, or an expert, Pilates Local is the place for you. I've come in as the former, someone who has never done Pilates before but was tangentially aware of the power it holds to forge and maintain a deeper relationship with the body something I desperately needed as someone with a consistently bad back, tight hips, and little understanding of my ownindividual balance. I was fortunate to be connected with co-founder Michele Rinaldi, who has become an incredible coach in my personal sessions. The way she runs her sessions are steeped in patient lesson, creative metaphor, and endless kindness. In a few short weeks, I'm taking the lessons from our sessions and applying them in my real life. Overall, she's helped me feel more comfortable in my body than I have in years, and I couldn't recommend Pilates Local stronger to all levels willing to leave with the experiences I've shared above.
