I was new to pilates and also very out of shape when I first met Alison and Libby three months ago. They both worked with me privately to meet my goals and create a workout that was challenging yet doable. they made it much less intimidating for me as a first timer and are very patient in teaching the moves and building up from the basics. I am happy to report that I am in much better shape now than I was three months ago!! Alison and Libby are also both such nice people to boot. The studio is spacious with good ventilation, and they follow strict cleaning protocols. Everyone is masked (even some people who are vaccinated) and only those who are vaccinated can be unmasked.

Ive been renting space from The Pilates Room for the past 18 years. As a Pilates Instructor and renter, Alison and Elizabeth have always been accommodating and professional. My clients love the laid-back and comfortable feel the space has to offer, and I the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced instructors in NYC. The Pilates Room has been and continues to be the perfect space for me to build my business. Easy-going, fun, safe, and always professional!
