        There are few doctors who care for their patients like Dr. Kadiyala. He is attentive, actually listened to me (something I can't say about any of the other 10+ doctors I saw for my chronic injury), is willing to put in the work to figure out what's wrong, and genuinely cares about my recovery. After 2.5 years and many, many appointments at both NYU and HSS, I still had no diagnosis and no hope for recovery from a debilitating injury. Within five minutes of walking into my appointment with Dr. Kadiyala, he correctly diagnosed me. A week later I had surgery, and I'm now on my way to recovery. He's the only doctor throughout this whole process who gave me hope that I could heal. Don't bother going anywhere else; you won't receive this level of care at the other major NYC institutions. Can't recommend him enough.

        Doctor Kumar Kadiyala, is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. He treated me with superb care when I fell and fractured my Tibia back in 2018. I had a mutli-fracture. Dr. Kadiyala performed surgery on me, and stitched up my leg with only 15 stitches!!!! Doctor Kadiyala is a tremendous blessing in my life, and I shall always include him in my prayers. If you need an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon, then Dr. Kadiyala is quite the best!!!!

        Our experience with Doctor Kadiyala has been excellent. My mother had a disability that did not allow her to carry out normal activities in her life. Dr. Kadiyala help her to have a better quality of life with her arm surgery, currently she is completely recovered and without pain. God bless you and continue to help more patients.

        AT FIRST THE APPOINTMENT PROCESS WAS A NIGHTMARE I LIVE IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY AND HAD TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT THRU 6 DIFFERENT TRANSFERS IN NYC OFFICE HAD SURGERY 1 WEEK LATER AND THERE WAS NO FOLLOW UP APPT FOR 6 WEEKS IN THAT OFFICE BAD BAD MEDICINE BAD BAD PRACTICE

      Christopher S. Ahmad, MD, specializes in knee ACL, meniscus, and cartilage injuries, shoulder instability and labral tears, rotator cuff pathology, Tommy John surgery, and advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques for sports-related injuries of the knee, shoulder and elbow. He is the Head Team Physician for the New York Yankees and a member of the Major League Baseball Team Physicians Association. He is also Head Team Physician for the Rockland Boulders as well as for several high schools in Manhattan and New Jersey. In addition, Dr. Ahmad serves as a consultant to local metropolitan gymnastics and swim teams, and as the official medical provider to the FC Westchester Soccer Academy. A recipient of several awards for outstanding research in the field of Sports Medicine, Dr. Ahmad conducts ongoing research in the areas of ACL injury prevention and screening, biomechanics of the elbow, and surgical techniques for rotator cuff and shoulder instability repair. He has authored more than 200 articles and 50 book chapters related to shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine and has presented over 250 lectures nationally, and internationally. Dr. Ahmad was also an editor of the textbook Minimally Invasive Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and Pediatric and Adolescent Sports Injuries. Dr. Ahmad has his undergraduate degree in engineering while playing 4 years of Division 1 varsity soccer at nationally ranked Columbia University. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and three children.
