Dr. Gausden, Hayden and Samantha are a stellar team. I had my hip replaced after years of pain and my recovery has been wildly successful. I would recommend this team to anyone considering hip or knee replacement. Beyond the exceptional surgical skills, the team is also very caring and communicative. The whole process was seamless.

Dr. Gausden as well as her team were superb. How good? My recovery from a hip replacement has been fast, nearly painless and a wonder. Dr. Gausden won't take credit for the flawless surgery but who else? I am lucky to have had her.

Dr Elizabeth Gausden is an outstanding surgeon at HSS, I feel lucky to have her as my surgeon and so will you. She took the time to understand my needs, background and challenges; provide direct and clear set of options; and in my case a full hip replacement including a custom robotic surgical plan to take into account existing screws and plates in the hip. Her bedside manner is friendly and approachable, as is that of her whole team. Most importantly I am walking and moving pain free! I couldn't ask for more in a surgeon - Dr G is highly recommended!

Dr. Gausden performed my partial knee replacement in Nov. 2022. From my first office visit, she and her team put all my fears at ease. Another surgeon from my hometown did not give me a partial as an option but Dr. Gausden suggested it would be a better option for me with less recovery time. My surgery was flawless and I found her to be very patient and kind. The follow up from her PA Hayden and Office Manager Samantha Taylor has been so thorough and prompt. I am now 7 weeks out from surgery and fully recovered and finished with my PT. I highly recommend Dr. Gausden, she's the best! HSS was wonderful too!
