A great, caring and smart doc. Very highly recommended. A couple years ago he (and PT) got me back to running after a blown Baker's cyst, and has helped me deal pain in my other, arthritic, knee. Great and fast at communication, and unlike some other docs in this town, I 100% trust him. Again, if you've got a problem in your joints, see Doctor Alaia.

Dr. Alaia gave me my Left arm back. After dislocating my shoulder more times than I can count he surgically repaired my shoulder by inserting a bone graft. Hes the best doctor around!

If I could give Dr. Alaia and his team 10 stars I would. He has completely changed my quality of life. I suffered from chronic dislocations in my knee and ultimately ended up tearing my MPFL. Wanting the best care I went to NYU orthopedic urgent care where they xrayd me and told me I would definitely need surgery. They referred me to Dr. Alaia and I'm so grateful they did because he and his PA Andre gave me the absolute best care I could ever imagine. This was a very complicated surgery- DFO/TTO/MPFL Reconstruction. I was incredibly anxious about the procedure and the recovery but Dr. Alaia answered all my questions and made sure I felt good every step of the way. I just left my one year post-op and everything looks perfect. I haven't had any dislocations and I'm in minimal to no pain on a day to day basis. Dr. Alaia and Andre are not only incredibly skilled at what they do, they are thoughtful, caring, and a joy to be around. I truly can't speak highly enough about them and if you need to have knee surgery (which I hope you don't) but if you DO, I promise you will be incredibly happy under Dr. Alaina's care.
