Doctors of Optometry - East 23rd @ Broadway

I called today to ask if I can use my medical insurance which has vision benefits and the woman I spoke to who sounded rushed and impatient told me no. I offered to give insurance number but she refused and just asked the name of insurance and she said no. Ive always gotten my glasses here so I thought of going to the same place but after that conversation Im about to look for another place to get my contacts and glasses.. Im turned off by the lack of enthusiasm and inaccurate information I was given. Im looking at my online account for my insurance and it clearly shows the address of this particular LensCrafters. disappointed. if you dont want my business there is plenty of competition out there who will gladly accept it.

Cannot recommend Dr. Ellen Ettinger enough. She was so nice and made the experience comfortable. Incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Also they offer a scan of the back of your eye which at other smaller eye doctors I had to pay extra for. I was in and out in 1 hour.

Staff very friendly, wish they had more frames in stock as they show on line.
