Initially, I was concerned about hiring a roving notary. I needed one within 24 hours and needed the notary to come to me. The notary had to have the required credentials and be able to notarize several legal documents. My fears were groundless. After confirming the appointment via text, Jamie, our notary, arrived exactly on time. He ensured that our witnesses could verify who they were with picture ID. He insisted we review and sign the documents in his presence to assure comprehension; methodically reviewing pages of forms to verify that they were properly ordered and complete.
