Mexico Lindo

We lived in NYC more than a decade ago in an apt building right across the street from this fabulous restaurant. So when we went back last week for Spring Break we couldnt wait to take our daughter who was a toddler when we used to frequent Mexico Lindo. We met friends there for dinner who happened to live in the city and had never been. They said theyd definitely be returning soon! If you are looking for true authentic Mexican food this is the place for you. My husband has never, ever found another place that serves mole sauce as delicious as theirs. Its the owners moms recipe. The owner Claudia remembered us because like her we are French bulldog owners/ lovers. Our family highly recommends Mexico Lindo!!

Racist restaurant terrible service. The waiter sat me and my friend down took our orders and never came back. Another employee brought our food out.No one came around to ask if we needed any more drinks or anything else. Our waiter was busy talking to another party that came in after us. When we stood up thats when they want to notice us and bring the check. Disgusting service avoid this place. Not even worth one star. If a Mexican restaurant doesnt want black people in there just put a sign up.

Im from Texas and am thrilled that I finally found a good Mexican spot in the city!! Delicious esquites, fajitas, and salsa! Tasty margaritas and great service!
