Absolutely has gone down hill over the past few years. They do not call back or follow up with test results or approvals for treatment. I have called multiple times, left messages and do not receive calls back. Its become a Gov money draw. They do less than bare minimum if thats possible. Ill be looking to move my treatment to another facility.

I went there for a simple prescription for my facial skin to the emergency service as I was told. They first made me wait half an hour for no reason when there was nobody waiting (it was 6:30am) and then they asked me to wait and take a seat by the clinic and noone was even looking at my face. I asked 4 times every 5 minutes if they will take a look (and wouldn't be more than 1 minute) and they said they will in a minute and the so-called doctor didn't even look at my face. so horrible and inhumane treatment to a person. at last, she told me if I don't want to wait, I can leave, which I did. She wasn't doing anything either, just joking around while I was sitting there for half an hour. will never ever go there again.

Horrible! I'm a 911 first responder there from the first day on. The treatment I have received here at Mt. Sainai has been awful. I tried to get mental health services for my ongoing ptsd. The psychiatrists "treating" me did not want to be bothered. They threw me into their hospital because as they say I looked "tired". I could not stay in Manhattan as I live in Staten Island. I have a child with autism that I care for who needed me at home. Also as anyone knows it's almost impossible to find parking around there. I drove in that day. To make a long story short I left and went home. The next time I tried to make an appointment I was basically told I couldn't come back anymore. After many pHone calls to supervisors I found out eventually that one of the psychiatrists said that I threatened them. I was in a state of disbelief.Nothing like this ever happened. I had been going there for years at this point. But of course even after I tried to speak to the supervisor and explain everything that happened I was told I had to find a different place for care. This was very difficult as now mt. Sainai clinic has me as threatening. Finally I landed at Rutgers wtc program at the direction of a supervisor. This is where I receive care at the moment It is very far away from my home and it is difficult for me to get to appointments. I have recently been diagnosed with cancer. I am not alwed to go back to relieve care at Mt. Sainai. Think twice about going to them for mental health care.
