New York City Aikido (NYCA)

Over the years Ive checked out different dojos, and I particularly like NYCA. Enjoyable practice - and the instructors are very good. At this point - its smaller and more intimate - and each person gets more attention than you might in a bigger place. Plenty here for you - whatever level youre at.

The founders of this dojo are very experienced practitioners of martial arts and movement arts, and they continue to explore, study, and research, sharing their new ideas and insights with the fellow students of aikido. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and dojo members are sincere and supportive. Close attention is given to each student's current physical challenges and limitations. The practice is safe, while offering the students opportunities to expand their range of possibilities.
