Andre is wonderful. My wife and I saw him after a terrible fight over a very charged subject. After a few months of working together with Andre a similar issue arose. Taking what we learned about each other and what we needed we were able to take what could have been an argument and turned it into a very positive conversation. He also has beautiful cats. You should go just to meet them.

I first met Andre Moore at The Congress on Attachment and Trauma in London in June 2017. As a psychotherapist in private practice for the past 20 years, I was impressed with the depth of his insights and creative interventions in working with couples, encouraging them to empathize with each other, imagine what it feels like to be in the other's shoes and create a gentler, safer, emotional place in their lives together. I also shared Andre's excitement in learning to use new, neuroscience based therapies like Interpersonal Neurobiology, EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to help people heal more quickly from earlier deprivation and trauma. If I had to describe Andre Moore as a marriage, family and couples therapist in one sentence, it would be that he is deeply dedicated to working with people and never stops learning. Last year, he completed three trips to London for specialized training in trauma and dissociation which has given him greater insight on how to help men and women heal from deep seated shame and despair. In his sensorimotor psychotherapy work with couples, Andre helps them become more mindful of how very early injuries are relived in the present without remembering them, when lovers trigger or push each other's buttons in their daily lives together. Andre helps them grieve, work through and heal from these early injuries and reach a caring, compassionate place with each other in which they can genuinely regret that they didn't make themselves ready for each other sooner and love each other more in the present. Hi Andre, I still remember the first time I came to see you with my wife. I was skeptical and thought it was a stupid idea. But was I wrong! You were able to see things about me that I had no idea were there, not to mention my wife! I will always recommend you to other couples. Stay safe in the face of this Covid.
