Ive been a few times. This is one of my favorite places in the city. Its expensive, as is any jazz club or nicer bar, but its worth the money. Come to an earlier set if you want the quieter crowd- it gets chattier and more lively as the night goes on.

Just wasnt the Jazz we like. If we had known/heard before we accepted the 25usd entry fee we would not have sat down.

I stayed at the Roxy for 2 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday with my boyfriend. We were having the best time at the Roxy until we went and had dinner and drinks at the Django. My boyfriend booked a special night and it was ruined by your waitress Krystal who has no customer service skills. We were seated by a wonderful host and that is when our waitress appeared with menus and we ordered drinks and food right away. The drinks were brought out and the appetizers. We were enjoying the live band which was amazing and the band finished their set and thats when we realized its been an hour since we last saw our waitress and were never approached again. When everyone started to leave we had to stop another waitress and ask for our waitress and she told us she would look for her. When our waitress finally showed up we were told that the food was still on its way and the bar was closing. The bar is closing! We were in shock that we were never asked if we would like a second drink when our glasses were sitting empty. I was about to get up and leave but my boyfriend did not want this to ruin my birthday and ordered more drinks fast and our food and drinks were brought out by the wait staff. Once we were done we still have to call for our waitress and the wait staff came and cleared our plates and they asked if we still wanted the dessert. This was a dessert my boyfriend had as a birthday surprise and they just ruined the surprise. At this point I was completely disappointed that this was the service we were receiving and for my birthday. When we asked for the check the waitress Krystal appeared and handed the bill without saying one word to us. I have never felt so unwelcome at a place in my life. We also spent over $300 when this is money we worked hard to save for this special occasion. I can never have a do over for my birthday but it was definitely one I do not want to remember.
