I recently did custom closets to maximize space in my NYC apartment. I reached out to California Closets to get a consultation and explore options, costs and designs. I worked with Nina who was extremely professional, responsive, patient and accommodating throughout the whole process. She did a few iterations of the design and made my requested changes while also providing her expertise to maximize space. The one downside is I had to wait 5 months for the installation once I agreed to the design - I guess everyone has been doing home improvement since the pandemic. After installation, I had a few changes I wanted to make but was able to get those complete a few weeks after the request which I appreciated as this was classified as a "repair" versus an "install". The closets look amazing, the design was exactly what I wanted and the whole California Closet team including the painters and contractors were so nice and professional. They were all so diligent about cleaning up afterwards as well bring their own dustbuster! I have recommended California Closets to all my friends and the 2 who have used them have also had great experiences. Note: I did reach out to other companies who were pretty lackluster and were not as helpful or accommodating when it came to the design/price estimates. We worked with Alyssa to get custom closets for our new apartment. Initially the wait time deterred me, but Im glad I met with them because the prices were fair, service was outstanding and the quality is wonderful. Alyssa was so helpful and had great energy.
