Amtech cooling and heating

They stole money from my elderly mother. Please stay away from them

I originally worked with Arik 2 years ago and had a pleasant experience. Recently, my unit needed cleaning and I used him because of the first experience. I also needed to have my heating mechanism looked at. I just installed a new thermostat and it was not activating heat. He then tried to sell me a new thermostat for $375. When I said no he was very unprofessional, stating that "he has a family to take care of." Additionally, he mentioned to me that there was a hole in my vent that required a patch (first time I ever saw it). He said he would return and do it for free. After attempting to schedule a day for him to complete the work that he offered to do, he told me to get the person who did it to take care of it. Again, very rude and disrespectful. Since then I have discovered that he has ripped off two elderly owners in my condominium complex, charging over $20,000 to install a new HVAC unit for each of them. He is very unprofessional and a scam artist. Stay very far away from him. Arik from Amtech is a predator who takes advantage of people. I have also reported him to the BBB and he will not be working in our complex anymore!

I had the best experience using Amtech. I had a bad motor fan in my attic for my central air system and they battled through the heat that was overwhelming the space, to replace the motor. they were on time and professional. Definitely will recommend. Service: A/C system repair

That arik guy or whatever his name is should be in jail for scamming. Money hungry guy who just says a whole bunch of nothin. Scam artist.
