It's more like a hostel than a B&B. The kitchen, bathroom and toilet are separate but we never waited! There were 3 of us in the green room which has two beds! The room decor is dated but clean. Big negative point which spoiled our stay a little: the beds are horrible! We feel the springs of the mattress and they make a very unpleasant noise every time we move....we slept very little during these 5 nights because of that.... The location is very good, the metro is just 100m away. And if you have a vehicle you can park it for free on the street provided you find a space.... Check-in instructions are sent the same day!

This place is a hidden gem! You absolutely cannot beat the price. The owner bent over backwards to get us into our room early and was extremely kind to us. The C train connection is literally two houses down so its very convenient to get downtown or almost anywhere. It was clean, quiet, and we felt very safe.

Only if you dont have anywhere else to stay. I had to rely on another guest to get in, no one really checked me in, no breakfast nothing. There were no signs on the doors so I had to physically try every door before I found my room. To much for 155$ a night Nearby activities: None

Cozy and quaint. To answer questions that I had as a guest: Yes, they take the whole payment up front. They will send you check in information the day of your reservation. This freaked me out a little bit because I sent 2 emails in the week leading up and they went unanswered. There is a kitchen, toilet, and separate shower. All were clean enough. No breakfast was provided. The rooms were clean but the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. We had a lovely stay, and all things considered i would stay here again knowing what I know now. Lawrence the innkeeper was very kind. I wouldnt call this a B&B experience, its a hostel if anything. But it was a safe and clean place to unwind after long days in the city. Walkability: Super close to cafes, Hudson River, and train station

My stay in this guest house was very nice and comfy! The house is old, but with all the comfort you need! The host is great very helpful and kind. We stayed just for the nights, because during the day we were always out exploring the city. The location of the house is in upper Manhattan, half an hour far, with subway, from Time square and the main city center The Subway stop is 50 m from the door, so it's very close ! I recommend this place to someone who is searching for something nice, not to fancy, not to centrally located, not too expensive, but still good and comfortable!
