The Beekman Tower, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We had a reservation for three people. Only an extra bed was provided, but it wasn't very comfortable. We had to request an extra chair for the dining table. The staff was friendly with one exception. Unfortunately it was very loud due to the construction work in front of the hotel, so it wasn't great to get a good night's sleep. The construction site's boards made a noise when the bus and truck drove over them. Rooms: Nice with sofa, dining table, small kitchenette Safety: There was a police officer at the reception at night, but you could also be safe. Walkability: A few meters to the next subway. Food & drinks: Coffee and tea were available free of charge in the foyer

Excellent location in an aging hotel tower on 1st Av. Until a Vis of the UN on the East River. Staff is attentive and strives to meet customer requests. However, for the asking price of more than $330 per night and without breakfast, it is more than paltry by international standards. The rooms are clean, but room service has to be booked and paid for separately. The cleaning condition of the hallways is poor, and in some places there is an unpleasant smell. But the worst thing is that you can hardly sleep because of the noise from the street, the windows are inadequately sealed...but especially NOT soundproofed. You feel like you're trying to sleep at a fair. At our time, Easter 2024, there was also a construction site in front of the door.

Near united nation headquarter.. Nice staff.. Wide room.. All options there including cooking.. If you need cleaning you call them.. Nice view too.. Wiffi available.. Rooms: Rooms are wide and nice.. Clean.. Walkability: So near to food shops.. UN head quarters.. Near bus station.. Near so many super markets..

What a GREAT location! Booked with AirBnB because my previous booking got cancelled due to the new law going into affect, but The Beekman is approved for short term stays (less than 30 days). Hector met us at the Front Desk with a smile and upgraded our apartment! We only had 2 bedrooms before, and now had 3 plus a ton more space. The view of the United Nations was great. Great kitchen and supplies. Front Desk provided water bottles as many as we needed. The NY Grill and Deli just down a few doors was an amazing find for all the food/sandwiches/pastries/groceries/beer/wine, etc. that we needed for our room. It was wonderful to really enjoy the apartment as much as we wanted and having the grocery store and a full kitchen was great for breakfast and beyond. Was only about 15 minutes walk to Rockefeller area/St. Patrick's. Easy access to subway if so choose, but we used Lyft/Uber as most of our destinations. I can't wait to come back to The Beekman Tower!
