The location is great (walking distance to attractions and subway), but the service from the front ‘desk’ is unfortunately poor. There is no cleaning service; no ice bucket or safe or refrigerator in the room. If you request an hour later checkout (on a Monday) they charge an additional $50. The TV remote didn’t work and neither did the A/C. For the price, I would not recommend this hotel. We were really looking forward to our stay here, but it was certainly not like any other boutique-style hotel we’ve visited.

The stay was good, the location great... the room was disgusting. Carpet is ancient and grimy, bedspreads are the same and constantly fall off the bed. Rooms are dark and small. Refresh the floors, paint and bedding with bright colors and it would be 5-star because the service is fantastic.

I love this hotel, I have stayed here a few times. This last time I stayed, I had upgraded my room to a double (almost $80 more a night) only to have a single room with a small little chair they claimed pulled out into a bed. I tried to talk to the people downstairs but was treated so poorly I just gave up. So sad I have to even write this review because I really did love this hotel. Guess it's time to try something different next time.
