A five-star hotel located in Times Square, too accessible. It seems as if you are no longer staying in Times Square. Although it seems a bit pricey for the value for money, the brand is decent, the amenities are nice, you can join a nearby gym, there is a club attached to the hotel (which I could not go to when I stayed there because of many private events), and it was great.

Wrapping up a two night stay at EDITION Times Square with an additional $35 destination fee of $35 per night. Had an "upgraded room" but I don't know what upgrade I received since I it was the same room style I booked, and I was only on the 17th floor. Marriott Suit Night Awards do not work here. Enter street level, take elevator to 10th floor to lobby then you have to take another elevator bank to your room, a bit annoying. The elevators were a but slow, even a few other guests said that too. Room decor is nice, white, creams modern sleek. Le Labo amenities, the standard king room is small, compared to say the Marquis across the street. Drinks at bar start at a steep $30 per cocktail and $27 for a small chicken sandwich. We had two drinks and split chicken sandwich $100+ dollars, my wallet hurt. I was told we would have $35 credit to spend at restaurant /bar / room service for breakfast. When viewing my folio came in e-mail and the two $35 destination fee credits were not applied so I had to send an email to the hotel asking for a refund to my Marriott card for the charges. I will update my review once this is taken care of. I don't understand how it wa snot applied, this also happened to me at the Le Meriden stay a few weeks prior.

At check-in, I was surprised to discover that the hotel charged a mandatory daily Destination Fee of $40.17 USD ($35 Destination Fee + $3.11 State Tax + $2.06 City Tax), which was billed along with the deposit. This fee amounted to an extra $160.68 over my four-day stay. The bathroom lacks a lock and is separated by a curtain from the the bedroom. The toilet and shower are separated, but there's an issue with ventilation: the exhaust fan is only on the toilet side, and there's a hole connecting to the shower area since the shower itself lacks a fan. In addition, the room itself is small. I admit that the location is excellent, but overall, the experience falls short of expectations.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. It's perfect! The staff is top tier . So helpful and friendly. The rooms have a great vibe and are meticulously cleaned. The location is perfect for people who want to be in the middle of it all.

Loyalty is worth nothing here, no amenity with ambassador, no water in the room, they don't prioritize loyalty at room allocation (you can buy for 8$ + 10$ deliver + service charge + tip) so it's easily $25 for a basic requirement. I recommend to book trough third-party cheapo portals as it doesn't matter anyway.
