This is probably the nicest clinic I've ever been to. I've been coming here for a bit over a year and a half and have only had pleasant experiences with the doctors and staff. Most of the time my requests and questions are met promptly and respectfully and the wait time and etiquette is more than reasonable. The endo check ups are pretty much a complete physical and I've gotten more resources here than my actual pcp. I was given a psychiatrist the day i asked for one and I have had pretty much every issue from breathing trouble to hernias looked at. I feel very safe here.

This place is unprofessional from the snooty front desk to useless back and forth visits with no results. Patients share horror stories about doctors who insist they meet with nurse for results when patients need to meet with their doctors to discuss their bloodwork results creating a never ending back and forth un needed visits from patients and when concerns are expressed no one seems to have answers or resolutions, to rude phlebotomists who purposely bruise/hurt them when taking blood work, to unprofessional physiatrists who insist patients start medications that have nothing to do with what they need, to bloodwork always getting mixed up or not properly taken thus requiring patients to revisit and get pricked/bruised with several un needed visits, to their vindictive pharmacy employees who will send out medications opened and patients receive them all mixed in their bag, to their call center who rarely answer and only to “take messages” but never receive a call back. Bring your concerns to office manager or patient advocate etc is like talking to the wall with no resolution and better have the correct job title because they’re all different and only they know the correct terms. Also their favorite suggestion is to use MyChart which is useless as patients are unable to submit messages to their providers and providers confess they don’t read them as “they have too many clients”. GO ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. There’s always something with this unprofessional clinic

Attempting to navigate this place is a complete mess; do not waste your time. Calling the number leads to a call center, and the people who answer do not seem to know or care how to guide potential new patients. After calling multiple times over the course of a month, the few times I was connected to a real person (as opposed to the robot simply hanging up), I was led in circles. Not once did I ever get a chance to speak to an actual medical professional, and at one point I was stuck talking to a call center worker about intimate medical details, in an attempt to direct my call in the proper direction. Thankfully they were the one person to answer with an actual interest in helping me, but they sounded just as frustrated as me with the whole process. The two times I was able to make what appeared to be progress, I was told to wait 1-2 days for a call back, simply to speak to someone about making an appointment! Both times the call back was in fact a single voicemail a week later, in which I was told my insurance is not accepted. I have found numerous doctors and specialists with the CTMS through the Mt. Sinai website that accept my insurance, so I am baffled why those two belated 10 second voicemails are the only response I apparently have earned. On top of that, people at the call center have directly contradicted the voicemails, saying that they clearly *do* accept my insurance. Of course all of this is irrelevent, because I cannot seem to reach anyone to discuss the situation in the first place. 😂 While I can't speak to quality of any actual services, if simply attempting to make an appointment is such a nightmare, the rest of the experience can't be much different. Save yourself the same frustration, and find somewhere else. (Update: I made a single call to one of the Pride Centers with NYC Health + Hospitals, and immediately got an appointment with a doctor for a week later.)

My experience with social worker at Laura Stein. woke up this morning to a missed call. I called the number back. The phone rang then the voice-mail picked up. The lady on the voice-mail name was Laura Stein a caseworker. I left a message saying my name and number. She called back 3mins later. I answered my phone and said goodmorning. She asked did I get her voice-mail. I told her " no, I just called the her number back because it was a missed call." She replied " well I am not going to repeat myself. You need to listen to your voice-mai." I asked her who is she and who gave her my number. She replied " you need to check your voice-mail. I'm saying all that over again". I told her I have over 50 unheard text messages. She replied " Nico said you need a letter for your surgery. I'm a social worker at CTMS. I'mnot repeatingthe message. Check your voice-mail". To me I thought that was really rude. Why did she call back with such a rude attitude? Why call back if she knew she didn't want to to tell me what she called for? I told her she shouldn't be a social worker or work with the public if she is going to be rude to people. Never I'm my life have I had some call me and tell me that weren't going to tell me what they called for just listen to the voice-mail. I find it to very unprofessional. I told my Dr. Office about her. I
