Maria Hair Braiding Shop

Ive been going here since 2018 and havent had any complaints. I only let Maria braid my hair (one of her sisters braided my hair I didnt like it as much) and shes good at what she does! I show her a picture of what I want and she executes it! She also lets you negotiate the price you want to pay and shes very understanding. She literally asks how much you want to pay and you set your own price as long as its not too low lol. Last time I went to her I got medium sized knotless braids and paid $150 including hair! Overcharged me and tried to cover for it by making the braids longer than necessary. Didnt even follow the picture I showed them which only had a few braids because they wanted an excuse to keep all my money. Feels like my hair is ripping out and everything is heavy af. I will never be going here again.

Had an appointment for 10 she came about one hour and 30 minutes later and still had to go to the store before she started. Why didn't I leave? Well somebody in that shop usually braids my friend's hair and it looks nice. Unfortunately I didn't realize somebody else braided my hair. Anyway the cornrows looked ok, but it was so tight. For 4 days I tried but after that time with no relief I had to take it out. My scalp was so irritated that 3 days after I took it out it still hurt. I wasted my money but I can only imagine what would have happened to my hair and my scalp if I had left it. So go at your own risk. And by the way no human should have to use a toilet like that, ever.
