    Not even a member but I have just heard how bad it has been over the last two months. No fix or update on the steam room and sauna? Absolutely disgraceful. My absolute boy is paying a lot of money to be a member there and quite frankly he is not getting the full benefits. Hearing such horrible things from my absolute boy makes me feel the need to write this review

    *tldr;* great facilities and staff, but buggy tech systems and lack of follow-up by managers caused me to *lose ~$300* to NYSC Good things: This gym has great modern equipment, a beautiful dance studio, and I love the people that work at the front desk they are very nice. Day-to-day I had a great experience working out there. My complaint is with technical bugs causing me to be charged excessively, and a lack of follow up or refunds despite me calling and emailing. Issues starting my membership last year: I wasn't given my verbally promised signup bonus (one free month) at the beginning of my membership when I signed up at the 34st NYSC location. My corporate account also failed to officially started for over 2 weeks, so I had this fixed at the 41st location (I realized I preferred this location). I guess because of system bugs, the gym started charging me at *both* locations until I reported for them to stop. As a result, I lost *~$115* because I was unable to successfully refunds for these mistakes. Issues ending my membership this year: I cancelled in-person at the front desk in December, and my app history shows I haven't checked in to the gym since Dec 15. In Feb, I noticed charges were still being paid to NYSC, so I called the manager about this and they said refunds are not possible because there's no evidence of my cancellation. It is true that I did not get a confirmation email, but I was told my membership was cancelled in person, and didn't think to question this. I was charged two months' monthly membership fee and the annual maintenance fee, totaling to another *$177.62*. All in all, this is not an insignificant amount of money. I understand it's hard to keep up with each individual members' issues, but I do wish customer service was better, more responsive and perhaps more lenient with refunds when accounting for NYSC's technical bugs being the root cause of these Update Mar 5th: I got one month of dues refunded to me after management reached back out to me

    This gym is very clean, organized and has many machines to exercise. The staff is very friendly and polite. Problems: the sauna and steam have not worked since November, and this whole week the showers did not have hot water, which is unforgivable right now in the winter time.

    Honestly writing a review shouldnt be enough to express the frustration of trying a new gym that offers you the passport membership for almost $90 a month, I literally opened my membership online yesterday January 21 and walked today to see how amazing this gym looked in the pictures.well I just canceled my membership today January 22. 1. Not enough machines and only 1 butterfly machine. 2. Cheap cleaning products in order to clean the machines after every use. 3. Dirty mats. 4. Sauna and steam room are closed since November 5. Carpet floor in the bathrooms, so dont even think about walking barefoot. 6. (See pictures attached)Not even the time nor energy from staff members to just take the advice from the door saying Effective 5/9/22 sauna and steam room(almost 2 years to take that advice out of the steam room and sauna door)
