Called today and spoke to a woman who identified herself as the funeral home director, Janice. I explained to her that I was calling for pricing on services for a stillborn. I explained to her how traumatic the event has been for my family and myself and that I needed to ask her a few questions as this is something we have never experienced before. Giving her all of this background I would think that the person holding such a high rank at a funeral home would have patience and take time with helping me navigate all of the options but instead she raised her tone with me, lost her patience, refused to answer my questions and when I asked to speak with someone else, even someone with a lower position she told me no because she is the boss. I asked to speak to her boss and she repeated that she is the boss. I explained to her that Director does not equal owner so can I please have the contact information for the owner of the facility. She refused to give it to me. She also refused to tell me when he would return to the facility. I just watched my little sister birth a stillborn and immediately have to plan a funeral service NO ONE should EVER speak to anyone planning a funeral service the way she did with me! I would like a call back from the owner ASAP!
