Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company

Continental is the poster child of poor or no service at ridiculously high prices. They seem to have their own textbook, do whatever they please, and act as a monopoly that is untouchable by you and me. It is a wonder why no one has sued Continental for their lack of transparency, poor or no service at robbery-like prices and other misconduct.

Trying to get customer service to take care of my holdings. Phone is not available. Website messages do not get answered and emails ignored. Worst service, especially while dealing with time sensitive situations.

In my career I have used transfer agents more than once when running an M&A or other transaction. Never used Continental. Now that I am on the receiving end, trying to get them to transfer shares to my own brokerage account, I can say I never imagined one could be so bad. Information arriving out of order, incompetent representatives on the phone and no secure way other than snail mail to provide sensitive information like a Form W-9. Beyond the pale, this is the worst I've ever seen.

Continental is singularly the worst company and least trustworthy organization in finance. If your shares end up with them for any reason - be wary of what will be a terrible experience. Even after everything was set and the GC of a publicly traded company reached out to admonish them for losing / disregarding legal paperwork, I still dont have my shares. The complaints above have also been logged with the better business bureau And there is ample press on how Continentals broken processes has contributed to losses for retail investors many times. I wish I had knownIf you are a decision maker or close to one at a major firm, do whatever you can to avoid them selecting Continental. PS they will probably put an innocuous someone will reach out. My last email was opened 30+ times internally and no one has reached out yet. It is shameful.
