A heartwarming story about the kindness of the staff at Apple Grand Central...my dad passed away a few weeks ago, and we were helped by a member of the Genius Bar team named Nick, who answered some basic questions for us about my dad's devices and Apple ID. My mom went back yesterday to set up her new iPad, and Nick recognized her, and switched appointments with a coworker so he could help my mom. Nick was patient, kind and attentive, which I am so grateful for - my mom tends to get overwhelmed by technology (especially since my dad used to handle all of those things for her) and she was determined to go to the Apple Store by herself in an effort to learn how to be "technologically independent." Nick could not have been nicer, and we are all so appreciative of his help and support. A small act of kindness that went a very long way.
