PK & Altman were a pleasure to work with on the installation of exit signs and emergency lighting throughout our brownstone co-op. They were prompt in responding to the Angi request, and sent a project manager out right away who was informative and helpful. The written proposal was accurate, and regular email, phone, and text exchanges with our customer service rep and our project manager helped keep things moving along smoothly. The electrician team who did the installation was efficient and courteous throughout the process, and their work was excellent, even more so because of a 132-year old building--and a demanding client (me). I needed to get some electrical work done in my apartment and PK was highly recommended by my super. I called them to set up an appointment and was warmly and professionally greeted by Glen. Glen listened as I explained my electric needs. An appointment date for an estimate was quickly made and a few days later Raphael showed up right on time and checked circuit breakers, evaluated the situation, and listened to what was needed. In short order the estimate was emailed to me and I was pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable price considering the scope of work involved. I called them back to set up the job date, request their insurance and put down a deposit. This time on the phone I was greeted by Joe. He was equally as professional and courteous as Glen. We set it all up but then some things in my schedule changed and I had to move dates and shuffle things around and they accommodated me easily and effortlessly. Anytime I called Glen or Joe they handled things so well and made me feel like I was always in good hands. The day of the job, Pedro and Cesar arrived on time and they worked efficiently. They were friendly and answered the many questions I had as they did their work. They did a great job! After they were finished they each cleaned up the floor and made sure that everything was neat and back in place. I was thrilled! I called Joe back after they left to give them praise because of their outstanding work. Again, Joe was his usual polite and courteous self. All in all PK is outstanding. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend them!!

I cant say enough about both the people and the service we received from PK & Altman Electric. We had contracted with an electrician to consolidate and upgrade our service. He started the job and filed the permits and we were near the inspection stage when he became ill and I believe he passed away. Now we had a job half done and no electrician. We searched around for a reputable company who could come and pick up the pieces for us and get us through the Con Edison and DOB maze and inspections. Right at our first contact with Joe we knew we were in good hands. Joe held our hand throughout the next few months until the jobs completion with knowledge, professionalism and always with a smile. Jorge our electrician was incredible. He knew exactly what was needed and always went the extra mile in explaining both the procedure and all the necessary steps to get through the job and inspections without any more bumps in the road. He was always on time, he worked clean and everything happened exactly as he said it would. We couldnt be happier. And even Peter the owner, who needed to get involved at one point as we had a bit of an issue with the changing of contractors in the middle of the job, was a true gentleman. When the all the paperwork got stuck he personally jumped in and contacted us himself to reassure us that he was getting everything resolved. We have now finally come to the end of this job. It was a long hard road because of the issue with the first electrician. We know we will never be in that situation again because we have found our go to electricians. We have no reason to go anywhere else. We cant recommend PK Electric enough. It felt like family. And thats exactly the way it should be. PS: Thanks to Carrie too who jumped in to cover for Joe in his absence.
