This CVS oh boy. This is my local CVS and I shop here every few weeks. The positive: The associates on the floor and at the pharmacy are consistently friendly and human. The checkout line is efficiently handled. The less good: The environment of the shop is mega overstimulation. The lights are harsh, the aisles are confusing and the noise adds to the overstimulation. The background music is interrupted every 30 seconds or so by a loudspeaker, associate needed in skin care associate needed in aisle 13 associate needed in digestive health etc etc. often repeated. The trend in many stores is to put items behind locked sliders, I get it to an extent, but it is an inconvenience, not only to hear all the requests constantly over the loudspeaker but also for the overworked associate who has to run from customer to customer, many of whom are frustrated by the wait. I abandoned buying childrens toothpaste bc no one came after several minutes. The woman next to me also left because no one came to open the sliders for the product she wanted to purchase. I thought Id be in and out in under 10 minutes. Took me 30 by the time I waited in each aisle for the sliders to be unlocked for various products. In full disclosure it was a peak time- 6pm on a weekday. I couldnt wait to get out of there and back onto the relative calm of the streets of NY! Ha! CVS: Please find ways to decrease the stimulation and improve the experience, lots of people want to buy in store rather than ordering online but its an unpleasant experience and there were a lot of unhappy customers on my most recent visit.

I got incompetent service at the pharmacy at this location. First, they short changed me pills in a 90 day script; I was out after ~60 days; had to pay for extra 30 days out of pocked because my insurance thought I got 90 day (as did I)... second, they did not call or text me when I get a refill... third, even though my doctor sent them refill orders, I would sometimes have to go there or call them to tell them to refill... totally incompetent... I changed pharmacies... the store is terrible too... long lines, high prices...
