Dr. Appelle has been my dentist for more than 20 years. I he is honest, talented, competent, caring, and knowledgeable about the latest evolutions in dental care. I had the most pleasant experience with Dr. Appelle's office, both today during my appointment, and beforehand, coordinating with the lovely receptionist, Lucy. When I first made an appointment on ZocDoc, I had not updated my insurance. She touched base with me and we got it straightened out. Then I had to change my appointment several times, which she was very accommodating about. Lucy is very sweet and friendly and certainly made the process as easy as it possibly could be. Neli did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth and was very honest/helpful about flossing techniques, as well as which toothbrush/toothpaste is best to purchase. I saw Dr. Appelle after my cleaning, and he looked at my x-rays, told me my teeth looked great, and sent me on my way. I really appreciated the fact that this office is not cosmetic--they didn't tell me all the things wrong with the appearance of my teeth as other dentists have in the city. I am really glad I switched to this office. Dr. Appelle is the best dentist I have ever had. He is highly experienced, ethical, kind, and thorough. I have recommended Dr. Appelle to many friends and coworkers of mine over the years. They all like him.
