Manhattan Dental Design: Ernest Tchoi, DMD

I've been here a couple of times and unfortunately I need to come back to fix a few problems that I have however I feel so lucky that I found a doctor that I can trust. Super clean and up-to-date machinery. Everyone in the office is super nice and professional - from the receptionist to the hygienist to the actual doctor.

Good dentist, hygenists, and facilities, but check directly with your insurer to see if they are actually in-network. They made every effort to suggest that they are in-network for MetLife PDP+, including explicitly saying it in their ZocDoc listing, but they are not. And when confronted about the deceptive nature of their practices, gave an obviously often-used explanation and sales spiel to deflect. A single cleaning can eat up most of your yearly dental coverage when your are not in-network, as I discovered with Manhattan Dental Design.

If you are looking for a new dentist, Dr. Ernest Tchoi is one of the best out there. He is extremely knowledgable, efficient and thoughtful. My consultation (complete with x-rays, exam and cleaning) was extremely thorough. He also really took his time explaining everything to me in such great detail. The receptionist, Elaine, made certain that everything was covered by my insurance. The dental hygienist, Joanna, really took her time and explained everything that she was doing while also offering some very important oral care tips. She was assisted by Victoria who was just lovely. I highly recommend the entire team at Manhattan Dental Design!
