Meetup

I am been writing to Meetup Hqs for 3 years to complain about Dennis Kinney, (lives in Lutz, FL) runs Tampa Travel group who steals members money.. no record keeping and he frequently discharges people from the group if you even raise one safety question. He wont, have never, and upon requests never refunds the $20 membership fee. I wrote him for a compromise or ways to refund my money then he put "read only" on our communications! In my opinion this is so unprofessional and he's done this to many others.

Seems this is the only place this trash company is willing to receive any customer feedback. The customer service is stupendously bad. If there was alternative involving carrier pigeons I would gladly use it.

Not answering the phone, support used to be fantastic but since change of ownership a huge fail....

Customer support is rather awful. Pre-scripted responses, close cases without fully answering questions. Several years ago, took them two years to figure out that they were the ones that made the mistake. See below about someone who sent a letter that was returned. I actually sent a letter more than a year ago after I repeatedly added comments to an open case with no response from Meetup. After the letter was received, within two days I somehow got an answer to my query. This time, sent a letter after waiting a month for a response to a case that they closed without answering my question....and it came back undeliverable.
