This relatively compact store was crowded with Holiday shoppers. Lots of salespeople who all seemed to be focused on assisting a customer (any customer).
One of these helpful folks spent 8-10 minutes looking for a hard-to-find pants size -- for a mark-off item!
A sidebar: they sell quality men's shoes at relatively reasonable prices. An excellent stop in the Time-Warner Center.

Absolutely amazing stylists! Al and the rest of the team were extremely accommodating and helpful and very knowledgeable about the product. Highly recommended shopping at this location!

I was visiting NYC with my wife. This is a very nice store with lots of clothing options for men. The sales rep. are very polite and helpful. I bought a nice jacket and even got a great discount.

Joseph M was very helpful. I told him what I wanted, and he pointed out the exact size and fit. He had my interest in mind - he made sure I got the best price too. He steamed the shirts after the purchase.
This was the best customer service I have received in a clothing store.

Shopping has always been a stressful and sometimes shame spiral inducing experience. My weight fluctuates more than I'd like to admit. This has been especially true post pandemic. None of my summer clothes have been fitting right, and I haven't been feeling particularly good about myself. Today, I decided to stumble into J.Crew just to see what they had going on. I was immediately greeted by Al Jean-Pierre at the door. He made me feel welcome and seen. He spent about an hour with me, going above and beyond. He wasn't just checking inventory and sizes, he was letting me know how long he'd be gone for, checking to make sure the fitting room was comfortable, holding items I liked behind the counter to free up space for me in the changing room. He was there for every look I tried on, constantly explaining why it worked or didn't work. He made me feel confident. He made me feel seen. He made me feel like a person. I have never had an experience like this while shopping. I walked in with no intention of buying clothes, and I left with new shorts and new shirts that not only fit me well, they make me feel confident AND I know how to wear them thanks to his expertise. I cannot thank him enough. Empathy and patience are rare to find nowadays, especially in NYC. But, I'm grateful to Al for providing me a slice of empathetic heaven and humanity in Columbus Circle today, and for giving me a win I didn't even know I needed.
